Project Officer (Resilience & Livelihoods)

About the role

The Project Officer will support the design, implementation and monitoring of resilience and livelihoods interventions, ensuring technical quality and strategic alignment with donor and World Vision standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and strategic engagement for livelihoods activities, developing annual work plans and tracking progress against budget.
• Facilitate technical assistance to local stakeholders, ministries and partners to maximise project impact.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues to senior management and donors.
• Coordinate with cluster managers, technical specialists and implementing partners to integrate interventions and ensure scalability.
• Lead project reporting, M&E tracking, and preparation of donor narrative and financial reports.
• Develop and implement partner capacity‑building plans and conduct partnership performance reviews.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project implementation, monitoring & evaluation and partnership management within development or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong ability to work with government agencies, NGOs and donor representatives to achieve project objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on high‑quality reporting.
• Commitment to World Vision’s values and zero tolerance for fraud and corruption.
