Project Coordinator

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Coordinator to support high‑quality implementation of child‑focused development programmes across assigned areas. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, partners, donors and local authorities to ensure projects meet their objectives and deliver lasting impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day project planning, implementation and reporting, tracking targets and sharing updates with the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders (30% of time).
• Participate in annual and multi‑year budgeting, monitor monthly burn rates, ensure compliance with World Vision finance policies and donor requirements, and support internal and external audits (25%).
• Adapt and apply the project theory of change, collect baseline and periodic data, and contribute to impact measurement, learning forums and quarterly reflection meetings (20%).
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, government agencies and donors to foster policy influence and resource leverage.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality progress reports according to stakeholder timelines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities and provide technical guidance to field teams.
• Experience collaborating with partners, donors and local authorities.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, monitoring and reporting processes.
