Programme Associate – SRHR Unit

About the role

The Programme Associate provides comprehensive programme, financial and administrative support to the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Unit of UNFPA Tanzania. Working under the UNFPA Representative and the SRHR Coordinator, the role ensures efficient, quality‑assured and compliant implementation of country programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Process payment requests, travel authorisations and purchase orders using the Quantum ERP system, verifying all supporting documents.
• Monitor budget utilisation and overall expenditure against approved SRHR budgets, initiating requisitions as needed.
• Support Implementing Partners (IPs) in developing and implementing work plans and ensure compliance with HACT and Results‑Based Management principles.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, including FACE forms, and track financial performance.
• Coordinate logistics for key events, capacity‑building workshops and monitoring missions.
• Collaborate with administrative, financial and operations teams to optimise resource use and cross‑functional workflows.

Required skills

• Financial processing using ERP systems (e.g., Quantum).
• Budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
• Preparation of financial reports (FACE forms).
• Compliance with HACT and RBM principles.
• Logistics coordination for events and workshops.
