Product Support Specialist – Construction Machinery

About the role

LiuGong Machinery is seeking a Product Support Specialist to be based in Tanzania. You will act as the technical bridge between LiuGong, its dealers, and end‑customers, helping clients choose the right equipment, ensuring correct on‑site application, and delivering technical support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate machines and verify correct usage on job sites, mines, ports and other facilities.
• Provide technical support, product demonstrations, training sessions and field validation for new products.
• Collect and analyse field feedback to drive product improvements and increase market share.
• Conduct market‑gap analysis and competitor assessments to support sales strategies.
• Travel frequently to customer locations and maintain safe working practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, construction machinery or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in product, application, sales‑support or service roles within construction machinery, commercial vehicles, mining or industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of at least two construction‑equipment product categories and their typical applications.
• Proven experience in customer visits, product presentations, training, demonstrations or trials.
• Strong analytical ability to use data for competitor analysis and reporting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and the relevant local language; Chinese is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant product or business systems.
