Patient Care Tech – Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

The Patient Care Technician works the night shift to support patient wellbeing and assist clinical staff. This full‑time position involves monitoring vital signs, handling specimens, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and report patient status, responding promptly to call lights.
• Obtain, label, and transport specimens to the designated laboratory.
• Transfer, move, and reposition patients safely.
• Measure and record vital signs such as heart rate, temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare occupied and unoccupied beds for patient use.
• Participate in required safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain professional conduct, respecting the dignity of patients, families, and colleagues.

Required profile

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years patient‑care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry 20 lb regularly and push/pull 25 lb regularly.
• Capability to stand or walk for at least five hours per day.
• Clear close‑vision and ability to adjust focus.
