Marketing Manager – Tiles & Sanitary Ware Showroom (Tanzania)

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the tiles and sanitary ware showroom in Tanzania, driving sales growth, overseeing daily operations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. This position combines strategic marketing, retail management, and team leadership across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead showroom sales and marketing activities to exceed targets and execute promotional campaigns within budget.
• Establish reporting systems, ensure policy compliance, and supervise IT and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain accurate labeling and attractive displays.
• Guide sales and service teams to provide excellent customer service and manage wholesale/project orders.
• Optimize showroom layout, visual merchandising, and overall presentation.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, set KPIs and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Control operational expenses, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.
• Develop and manage digital marketing initiatives, including VOSA and other platforms.
• Collaborate with warehouse, planning, logistics and other internal departments to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, International Trade or related field.
• 3‑6 years of retail sales and tiles/showroom management experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in ceramic tiles or sanitary ware sales.
• Proven ability to manage teams of 7+ staff in cross‑cultural environments.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Proficiency in email communication.
• Experience with digital marketing platforms such as VOSA.
