Marketing Executive

About the role

A manufacturing company based in Dar es Salaam is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Executive to support its marketing initiatives and campaigns. The role covers coordinating marketing activities, building customer relationships, running digital campaigns and analysing data to improve marketing effectiveness. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing activities with stakeholders such as vendors, branch managers, on-ground teams and customers, and make sure the intent of each activity is communicated clearly.
• Build customer relationships and ensure marketing campaigns are implemented effectively.
• Analyse data to measure the impact of marketing initiatives and take remedial action when needed.
• Create digital campaigns, gather customer feedback and act as the single point of contact for marketing initiatives and market feedback.
• Manage the marketing database and coordinate email distribution.
• Draft marketing materials such as posters, flyers and newsletters.
• Monitor competitor activity and share leads and insights with the company.
• Liaise with printers, designers and other vendors to get the best value.
• Support the marketing team in delivering agreed activities on time and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a marketing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several tasks and meet deadlines; proactive team player.
