Marketing Content Specialist

About the role

Light.Func is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join its Dar es Salaam studio. The role focuses on planning, creating, and managing compelling marketing content that showcases the firm’s lighting projects, philosophy, and services across both digital and print channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with business objectives.
• Write and edit website copy, social media posts, case studies, and campaign materials.
• Coordinate visual assets with the design team to ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with leadership and project teams to translate technical lighting concepts into accessible stories.
• Monitor content performance, analyse metrics, and optimise messaging for target audiences.
• Ensure all communications adhere to Light.Func’s voice and visual identity.

Required profile

• Strong content writing and editing abilities with a knack for clear, engaging storytelling.
• Experience in digital marketing and social‑media content management, including campaign planning and performance tracking.
• Proficiency in developing content strategies that support brand positioning.
• Ability to research and transform complex design or technical information for diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working on‑site in an international, design‑focused environment.
