Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal support to the company's management and operational teams, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the organization’s interests across corporate, commercial, and labor matters within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Offer legal advisory services to senior management and various business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation, corporate regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage litigation, legal disputes, and regulatory issues.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and policy implementation.
• Advise on employment law, disciplinary actions, and labor relations.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across manufacturing operations.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Advocate certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and commercial law.
