ITN Distribution Coordinator (2-month contract)

About the role

The Special Task ITN Distribution Coordinator will support the Targeted Mass Campaign in Lindi Region, Tanzania, for a two‑month period (July–August 2026). Reporting to the ITN Systems Coordinator, the role provides technical and logistics assistance to ensure accurate quantification, efficient delivery, equitable distribution and proper accounting of insecticide‑treated nets (ITNs) across council distribution points.

Key responsibilities

• Lead council‑level coordination of ITN quantification and forecasting, ensuring alignment with national malaria strategies.
• Oversee validation of planning assumptions, allocation approaches and micro‑planning to support accurate targeting.
• Coordinate the ITN supply‑chain from council receipt through last‑mile distribution, acting as liaison with the distribution vendor to track shipments and resolve logistics challenges.
• Lead the implementation of the Targeted Mass Campaign, monitoring progress, documenting receipt, verification and reconciliation of ITNs at distribution points.
• Facilitate collaboration between the RISE project, national malaria programmes and local government actors, representing the project in technical coordination forums and managing related risks.

Required profile

• Available to work on‑site in Lindi Region for the two‑month period (July–August 2026).
• Experience in health‑related logistics, supply‑chain coordination or malaria control programmes.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government ministries and implementing partners.
