IT Infrastructure Support Analyst

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Support Analyst will work full‑time on‑site in Dar es Salaam, providing day‑to‑day technical support for the company’s server and network infrastructure. The role ensures the availability, performance, and security of cloud services while collaborating with internal technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and security, applying patches and updates.
• Maintain Linux enterprise servers, perform regular backups and restoration testing.
• Troubleshoot server and network issues raised by the Business Application support team.
• Plan and implement infrastructure updates, optimisations, and new technology deployments.
• Document incidents, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to process improvements.
• Communicate clearly with internal users and coordinate with other technology teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and enterprise networking.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, and common enterprise tools.
• Analytical mindset to interpret logs, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Professional communication skills and ability to document issues accurately.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Experience with help‑desk or service‑management tools and basic system administration.
• Commitment to confidentiality, security best practices, and high‑quality customer service.
