Integrated Business Planning Lead – Tanzania

About the role

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead is the primary point of contact for planning and logistics within the Tanzanian market of East African Breweries PLC. Reporting to senior market leadership, the role ensures that the IBP process aligns with EABL standards, supports timely decision‑making and drives value creation across commercial, marketing and supply functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the monthly IBP cycle with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning and Logistics.
• Lead all IBP meetings and the weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) sessions.
• Maintain the progressive IBP standards through PMR, DMR, SR and MBR reviews.
• Influence the executive agenda by reconciling data and presenting actionable insights.
• Identify risks and opportunities early, proposing gap‑closing options and action plans.
• Drive inventory management, forecast accuracy, NSV, innovation initiatives and cost‑saving projects.
• Manage change initiatives to eliminate parallel processes that hinder IBP effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in integrated business planning or supply‑chain planning.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, interacting regularly with senior market leaders.
• Holistic understanding of end‑to‑end business processes in a multi‑currency, multi‑regulatory environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to spot risks and opportunities early.
• Effective partnership skills with commercial, marketing and general management teams.
