Human Resources Supervisor – Mwanza (FMCG Industry)

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Supervisor to lead HR activities for our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) operations in Mwanza. The role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance with Tanzanian labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, contracts and staff data.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary procedures.
• Support performance management and appraisal cycles.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and company policies.
• Identify training needs and support staff development initiatives.
• Guide supervisors and line managers on HR matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, HR systems).
