About the role

Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is looking for a passionate, people‑focused Hotel Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day operations. The role is central to delivering the Hyatt purpose of care through exceptional guest and colleague experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services.
• Ensure seamless operations, elevated service standards, and memorable guest experiences that reflect the Hyatt Regency brand promise.
• Drive operational excellence, enhance guest satisfaction, and maximize financial performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous learning, and colleague engagement.
• Work closely with the General Manager to execute business strategies and achieve operational goals.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, preferably within luxury or upscale international brands.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑functional teams and align culture with Hyatt’s values.
• Strong operational and financial acumen with a track record of improving guest satisfaction and revenue performance.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills.
• Passion for talent development and creating an environment where people can thrive.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
