Horeca Sales Representative

About the role

The Horeca Sales Representative will own a Dar es Salaam territory, driving growth of Knorr products across hotels, restaurants, cafés and caterers. You will spend most of your week in the field, building relationships with chefs and purchasing managers and ensuring repeat orders.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for turnover and new accounts within the assigned territory.
• Prospect and open new HORECA outlets, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars and caterers.
• Develop lasting relationships with chefs, food‑and‑beverage managers and procurement leads.
• Conduct product demonstrations and tastings, recommending suitable Knorr solutions.
• Maintain product visibility, correct pricing and stock levels at each account.
• Take orders, follow through to delivery and manage payment follow‑up.
• Report weekly on sales performance, pipeline and competitor activity.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of field sales experience in FMCG or foodservice.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and opening new accounts.
• Fluent in Swahili and proficient in English.
• Comfortable spending most of the week on the move across Dar es Salaam.
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow‑through abilities.
