Coffee Sales Representative

About the role

The Coffee Sales Representative is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Dar es Salaam. The role focuses on driving coffee sales by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and supporting growth across designated channels.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients such as cafés, hotels, supermarkets and corporate offices.
• Provide product education on coffee origins, flavor profiles and brewing methods.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat orders.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective negotiation of price, delivery schedules and contract terms.
• Coordinate sales operations, prepare proposals and reports, and collaborate with internal teams for timely order processing.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or certificate in a coffee‑related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of coffee types, roasts and industry trends.
• Strong organisational ability to track leads and manage daily client visits.
