Head of Primary – CBSE Curriculum

About the role

Lead and inspire the primary wing of a CBSE‑affiliated school in Tanzania, overseeing both academic and administrative functions to deliver high‑quality education.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the academic and administrative operations of the primary wing.
• Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff for continuous professional development.
• Develop and implement educational programs and school policies.
• Foster a positive and productive learning environment.
• Engage with parents to address concerns and communicate school activities.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and school performance.
• Organize and lead staff meetings and parent‑teacher conferences.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership position, preferably in a CBSE‑affiliated school.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and educational standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
• Strong understanding of child development and best educational practices.
