Graphic Designer (Volunteer)

About the role

LeadHER Africa is seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to support its visual communication across digital and print channels. This is a fully remote volunteer position that allows you to contribute to women’s leadership and empowerment initiatives while managing your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Create social media graphics, event flyers, and presentation materials that align with the organization’s brand.
• Refine logos, icons, and templates to ensure consistent visual identity.
• Collaborate with program leads to translate messages into clear, engaging visuals.
• Prepare design files for web and mobile use, adhering to technical specifications.

Required profile

• Strong background in graphic design with a portfolio that includes social impact or nonprofit projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate with diverse teams across time zones.
• Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive design.
• Interest in gender equality, women’s empowerment, and African leadership development.
