GPS Tracking Technician

About the role

WATU is seeking motivated individuals to join its fast‑growing team as GPS Tracking Technicians. You will work directly with entrepreneurs who rely on motorcycles and three‑wheelers for their livelihoods, ensuring their assets are equipped with reliable tracking devices.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and replace GPS tracking devices on motorcycles, tuktuks and other company assets.
• Maintain accurate logs of each installation, including chassis number, plate number, make, model, colour, IMEI, SIM card number, installation date and location.
• Contact clients to schedule maintenance or replacement of malfunctioning trackers.
• Report all transport and installation‑related expenses accurately.
• Preserve confidentiality of all client and tracker information.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on installation and servicing of GPS tracking devices.
• Ability to record and verify device details such as IMEI and SIM numbers.
• Basic troubleshooting of GPS hardware and related electrical connections.
