Global Health Advisory - Principal

About the role

The Global Health Advisory Principal leads complex advisory engagements that improve access to medicines in low‑ and middle‑income countries. Reporting to the head of the Global Health Advisory team, the role combines thought leadership with execution excellence, overseeing flagship client projects from inception to delivery while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design market‑access, portfolio and go‑to‑market strategies for pharmaceutical and global‑health clients operating in LMICs.
• Develop innovative financing and pricing models and guide clients in engaging funders, investors and governments.
• Lead multi‑workstream projects, ensuring high‑quality, client‑ready outputs are delivered on time.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior client counterparts, facilitating workshops, strategy sessions and negotiations.
• Engage directly with ministries of health, funders, industry partners and implementing organisations to shape practical pathways to access.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level team members, fostering a culture of open feedback and professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in consulting, global‑health advisory or life‑sciences with sustained exposure to LMIC settings.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑stakeholder projects end‑to‑end.
• Deep expertise in market access, go‑to‑market strategy, portfolio prioritisation, innovative financing or delivery models in LMIC contexts.
• Experience working directly with senior decision‑makers such as ministries of health, funders and industry leaders.
• Strong strategic analysis, structured problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership experience, including mentoring and managing teams.
• Comfort operating in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial and evolving environments.
