Front Office Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the guest experience at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa, a Relais & Châteaux luxury retreat on Zanzibar’s south‑east coast. The role combines high‑level service standards with the intimate, family‑owned spirit of the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the front office team to ensure seamless arrivals, departures and guest interactions.
• Coordinate daily operations with reservations, housekeeping and other departments to anticipate and fulfil guest needs.
• Handle guest requests and complaints with discretion, warmth and prompt resolution.
• Maintain and optimise the property management system (Opera or equivalent) for accurate bookings and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in luxury front office or guest relations.
• Proven ability to uphold personalised service standards in a boutique five‑star environment.
• Strong operational discipline and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
