Finance Manager – Hospitality Portfolio

About the role

The Finance Manager partners closely with operational and commercial teams, providing financial guidance to support decision‑making, improve profitability, and align with group strategic objectives across the Tanzania hospitality portfolio. The role leads finance and accounting functions, translates group strategy into financial plans and budgets, and ensures compliance with GAAP and statutory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions across the Tanzania hospitality portfolio, translating group strategy into financial plans and budgets.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to GAAP and statutory standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, monitor performance against budget with variance analysis.
• Oversee core accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Treasury, Revenue Assurance, Inventory, and Taxation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax), statutory filings, and internal controls, acting as primary liaison for internal and external audits.
