Finance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to support our accounting and finance functions. The role involves preparing accurate financial records, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Contribute to budgeting, financial analysis, and cost‑control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or auditing.
• Experience in a multinational environment or supporting audits is preferred.
• Knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and TRA requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities.
