Field Officer – Agricultural Cooperative Support

About the role

The Field Officer will support selected Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) in Mbinga, helping them increase coffee production while committing to sell the coffee back to Sucafina’s sustainability program. The role focuses on building strong relationships with cooperatives and their members to achieve higher volumes of quality coffee.

Key responsibilities

• Represent company values and the Sustainability Project (Loyalty program) to assigned AMCOS.
• Conduct assessments of existing and new AMCOS, support corrective actions, and attend their Annual General Meetings.
• Ensure all farmers are registered for certification programs and provide training to field teams, farmers, and buying officers.
• Supervise internal inspections, compile data, and verify geo‑data to comply with EUDR requirements.
• Monitor compliance of buying centres, respond to external auditors, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain records of all activities, follow up coffee purchases against estimates, and send weekly task reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Community Development or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as computers, smartphones, and tablets.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
