Equipment Coordinator

About the role

Maersk is looking for an Equipment Coordinator to manage and optimise container flows, ensuring operational excellence throughout the asset lifecycle. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment, supporting global trade by delivering cost‑efficient solutions to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute equipment flow strategies aligned with import/export demand.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives for equipment handling.
• Engage and coordinate with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Manage supply, evacuation and regional stock levels of equipment.
• Lead equipment‑related projects and ensure inventory matches export booking forecasts.
• Collaborate with vendors and EMR to maintain service quality.
• Reduce dwell time and long‑standing inventory, ensuring accurate data reporting.
• Coordinate central equipment initiatives and deliver high customer experience.
• Plan equipment positioning based on market demand and operate in terminals without depots.
