Director of Engineering

About the role

The Director of Engineering joins the leadership team of Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge, overseeing all engineering and maintenance functions to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering and maintenance specialists across interior and exterior facilities.
• Manage plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, electrical, ground care, and parking operations.
• Oversee life and fire safety systems, as well as energy and green‑initiative systems.
• Ensure property maintenance meets safety, comfort, and efficiency standards.
• Participate in strategic and operational decision‑making as part of the property leadership team.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Exceptional leadership and team‑management abilities.
