Digital Marketing Specialist (Remote, Tanzania)

About the role

Virtual IP, a US‑based IT services and consulting firm, is building its marketing function from scratch. We are looking for a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist who will own daily marketing activities, strengthen our brand, and manage our digital channels while working remotely from Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
• Create and maintain monthly content calendars for social media and digital campaigns.
• Write, schedule and publish engaging posts, captions, articles and other marketing content.
• Plan and execute new product launch campaigns, including positioning, messaging, target audience, timelines and promotional assets.
• Coordinate pre‑launch, launch and post‑launch activities across social media, email, website, paid ads and other digital channels.
• Track performance metrics, sales results, conversion rates and ROI; prepare regular insight reports.
• Support brand awareness, audience engagement and lead‑generation initiatives.
• Assist with website content, landing pages, SEO, email marketing and content marketing.
• Research competitors, industry trends and audience behavior to uncover opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and take initiative.
• Based in Tanzania and comfortable aligning work hours with US Central Time.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
