Digital Marketing and Sales Intern

About the role

The Digital Marketing and Sales Intern will support NITCL’s marketing and sales initiatives, helping to promote its transport‑sector services and innovations. Working on‑site in Dar es Salaam, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in digital campaigns, content creation, and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing NITCL’s social media channels and scheduling posts.
• Support the planning and execution of online advertising campaigns.
• Create and adapt copy and basic graphics for digital channels.
• Maintain and update marketing collateral and email outreach materials.
• Conduct market research, collect data and prepare simple reports.
• Help prepare sales presentations and coordinate with internal teams.
• Engage with stakeholders to improve brand visibility and client relationships.

Required profile

• Academic background in Marketing, Business, Communications, Transport or related fields.
• Interest in the transport sector and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time‑management and teamwork skills.
