CX Agent - Zanzibar

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Experience (CX) Agent to join Maersk’s team in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth end‑to‑end shipment lifecycle and delivering a consistently positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers primarily via phone, handling queries, issues and exceptions.
• Understand customers’ needs, business drivers and provide tailored solutions.
• On‑board new clients and nurture relationships to increase their share of business.
• Identify opportunities for face‑to‑face sales interactions and promote profitable solutions.
• Ensure all relevant Maersk products and services are offered to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales, OTCX and other teams.
• Hand over agreed terms and conditions to the appropriate groups.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecast and contribute to customer segmentation.
• Promote the use of digital channels and represent the Maersk brand when needed.
