Customer Experience Agent – Dar es Salaam

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Customer Experience (CX) Agent to join its team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. You will be the primary point of contact for customers throughout the shipment lifecycle, delivering a seamless and positive experience across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, high‑quality support to customers via phone and other agreed channels.
• Understand and anticipate customer needs, business drivers, and requirements.
• Handle incoming queries, issue resolution, and exception management.
• On‑board new clients and nurture relationships to grow business share.
• Identify sales opportunities and ensure all relevant Maersk products and services are offered.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales, OTCX, and other teams.
• Accurately manage pipeline, forecast demand, and contribute to customer segmentation.
• Promote digital channel usage and reinforce the Maersk brand.
