About the role
We are looking for an Inventory Controller to ensure accurate inventory governance and documentation, reflecting all physical movements in SAP. The role supports primary and secondary distribution while maintaining product quality and compliance in our Tanzanian warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate daily and monthly physical inventory counts and conduct ad‑hoc stock checks.
- Configure and maintain handheld devices used during stock counting.
- Initiate stock takes in SAP, upload count data, and post variance reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, including post‑goods‑issue transactions and inter‑depot movements.
- Apply FIFO principles, manage bin‑pulling sheets, and ensure frozen stock is isolated.
- Support product recall procedures and ensure compliance with age‑policy concessions.
Required profile
- High integrity and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
Required skills
- SAP inventory management.
- Microsoft Office applications.
- Computer literacy and use of handheld inventory devices.
