Country Project Lead – Tanzania

About the role

Living Goods is looking for a Country Project Lead to drive the implementation of its flagship multi-country health initiative in Tanzania. Reporting to the Global Project Lead, you will be the primary in-country representative, coordinating with the Ministry of Health, consortium partners and Living Goods teams to ensure the project meets its milestones, deliverables and impact goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the country workplan, implementation schedule and budget in line with donor commitments and government priorities.
• Coordinate implementation activities across Living Goods staff, consortium partners and government stakeholders.
• Oversee the deployment, adoption and integration of digital health solutions and performance-management approaches.
• Manage project resources, monitor risks and opportunities, and adjust plans as needed.
• Strengthen government ownership by embedding project interventions within existing health system structures.
• Facilitate data-driven learning and continuous improvement of service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading country-level implementation of multi-country, donor-funded health projects.
• Strong ability to work with ministries, NGOs and international partners.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage budgets, schedules and project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
