Corrugated Box Production & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corrugated Box Production & Maintenance Engineer to join our modern, fully‑automatic corrugated box plant in Dar es Salaam. The role combines hands‑on machine operation with preventive maintenance to keep the production line running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the complete corrugated box production line.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of all machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quickly troubleshoot machine issues.
• Carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Collaborate with Testliner and Kraft paper production teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corrugated box manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with fully automatic corrugated box machinery.
• Ability to independently manage production and maintenance activities.

Required skills

• Operation of a 5‑ply fully automatic corrugated box machine.
• Operation of a 5‑colour printing machine (ceramic rollers & doctor blade).
• Use of automatic folder gluer, stitcher and strapper.
• Preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Repair of corrugated box equipment.
