Corporate Sales Manager – Luxury Hotel, Zanzibar

About the role

JAZ Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to lead corporate and MICE sales for its 5‑star luxury hotel in Zanzibar. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Travel Marketing, you will create and execute strategies that attract corporate clients and drive revenue across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate and MICE sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate accounts and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international companies and key decision‑makers.
• Manage corporate contracts, negotiations, and long‑term partnerships.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, and property inspections.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support commercial strategies.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in corporate sales within a luxury hotel, hospitality, or tourism environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Zanzibar hospitality market and corporate segment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful business relationships.
• Preferably based in Zanzibar.

Required skills

• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with outstanding networking skills.
