Cluster Finance & Administration Officer

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Cluster Finance & Administration Officer to support financial operations across its Tanzania cluster. The role ensures compliance with business requirements, manages disbursements, and coordinates contract and funding activities to sustain cluster operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process all cluster disbursements within the approved control system and post weekly data into Sun Systems, maintaining segregation of duties.
• Perform weekly accounts allocation for balance‑sheet items, including payables, receivables, partner accounts, and staff advances.
• Prepare project financial reports (FFR) with required attachments and ensure donor reporting compliance.
• Coordinate vendor performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and monitor delivery against specifications, standards, deadlines and costs.
• Consolidate project funding requests in line with cash‑flow plans to maintain target cash levels.
• Serve as the primary contact for supplier queries, AP issues, and support office assessments, staff onboarding and capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant finance or administration experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sun Systems accounting software.
