Clerk – POD & 4PL Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Clerk to manage Proof of Delivery (POD) processes within our 4PL operations. The role ensures accurate POD handling, supports revenue collection and provides timely information to clients and transport partners.

Key responsibilities

• Process PODs accurately on a daily basis.
• Liaise with clients and transporters, responding to queries professionally.
• Generate daily reports on problematic PODs in the system.
• Request and follow up on outstanding PODs from transporters on a weekly basis.
• Monitor outstanding order numbers from Operations and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Enter new client POD requirements into the system.
• Collaborate with the team to meet strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics or document handling.
• Strong communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and exercise discretion in decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
