Childcare Host – Full‑time, Zanzibar

About the role

Join the Outliner Crew at The Mora resort in Zanzibar as a Childcare Host. You will design and deliver fun, age‑appropriate programmes for children aged 3‑12, creating magical moments throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement daily workshops that meet developmental needs of children 3‑12.
• Lead crafting, traditional activities, and sunset stargazing sessions to showcase Zanzibar’s culture.
• Maintain high childcare standards, including health and safety guidelines.
• Respond to parents/guardians, resolve issues and adapt services to guest requirements.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with children and proven experience in childcare or youth activities.
• Outgoing, energetic personality able to engage children of all ages.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English; additional European language is a plus.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to relocate within Tanzania and work as part of an international team.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; proficiency in English is essential.
