Call Center Agent

About the role

Boxleo Courier & Fulfillment Services Limited is seeking a motivated Call Center Agent to join its customer support team in Tanzania. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving inquiries, and promoting the company’s logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer calls professionally, addressing inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
• Receive, confirm, and schedule orders while meeting daily call targets.
• Follow scripted call flows for various topics and ensure accurate note‑taking.
• Identify customer needs, provide appropriate solutions, and route calls to specialised team members when required.
• Maintain call logs and reports promptly and contribute to customer loyalty initiatives.
• Achieve personal and team quantitative and qualitative performance targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a call centre or telesales environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner.
• Strong knowledge of customer service best practices and call handling procedures.
• Proven ability to meet sales and call targets while maintaining high service quality.
• Good problem‑solving, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in courier, logistics or a related industry is an advantage.
