Business Analyst – Supply Chain

About the role

The Business Analyst – Supply Chain will analyse supply chain data, processes and business requirements to improve operational efficiency, inventory performance, procurement, logistics and overall decision‑making. The role works closely with Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, Contracts, Finance and other departments to identify improvement opportunities and provide data‑driven insights to management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain performance across procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and order fulfilment.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering key supply chain KPIs.
• Support demand planning and forecasting by analysing historical demand, consumption and inventory data.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, cost drivers and recommend process improvements.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency between ERP systems, internal reports and operational records.
• Track supplier performance using metrics such as delivery reliability, lead time, quality, pricing and order fulfilment.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of supply chain issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare management presentations and communicate analytical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, supply chain, procurement, logistics or inventory management.
• Strong ability to collect, clean, analyse and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data modelling.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Pronto Xi.
• Capability to map existing processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
• High integrity, accountability and ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
