Business Analyst – Enterprise Technology & Performance

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Technology, Strategy & Transformation team in Dar es Salaam. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise technology solutions that drive performance for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to create customized solution approaches covering architecture, processes, deployment, and products.
• Build resilient, secure, and high‑performance solutions, advising customers on design and architecture.
• Coordinate with enterprise architects, development teams, and customers using Agile principles in a multi‑disciplinary environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming with Python or comparable languages (C#, Java, C/C++).
• Experience writing and executing SQL scripts.
• Familiarity with command‑line interfaces on Linux, macOS, or other Unix systems.
• Experience working in software development teams and knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform), distributed computing (Apache Spark), data modeling and processing.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure); AWS certifications are a plus.
• Good project‑management capabilities.
