About the role
The Budget & Programming Associate provides specialised support for planning, monitoring and analysing project financial performance, ensuring optimal use of resources within the World Food Programme.
Key responsibilities
- Review budget plans and monitor project financial performance in line with WFP policies.
- Analyse fund and grant balances, identify surpluses or deficits and recommend corrective actions.
- Support pipeline management to prevent breaks and maximise operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and enhance financial reporting.
- Provide comprehensive analysis to support decision‑making and maximise fund utilisation.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in budgeting, financial monitoring and analysis.
- Familiarity with humanitarian or development financing frameworks.
