Brewing Operator

About the role
The Brewing Operator is responsible for the manual operation of a brewing plant, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely during assigned shifts. Working closely with the Brewing Technician Artisan, the role supports both production performance and equipment maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Operate designated brewing equipment and monitor specific production processes on shift.
- Maintain process quality, productivity, and a safe work environment.
- Execute autonomous maintenance tasks, cleaning, lubrication, and equipment inspections.
- Record production data, waste, and short stops, and initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Perform quality control checks according to established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and support fellow operators.
- Apply 4S principles and follow safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions.
Required profile
- Ability to work shift‑based production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail for process monitoring and documentation.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to collaborate and assist team members.
Required skills
- Manual brewing equipment operation.
- Basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and simple valve replacement.
- Quality control procedures in a production environment.
- Understanding of autonomous maintenance and 4S principles.
