Brewing Manager

About the role

The Brewing Manager leads the brewery’s people, plant, process and product to ensure compliance with global brewing standards while delivering safe, reliable and efficient operations. This role combines strategic implementation of brewing strategies with hands‑on leadership of the brewing team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure brewery quality, taste targets and occupational health & safety are consistently met.
• Drive process optimisation, asset management and plant availability to maximise production reliability.
• Translate corporate brewing strategies into actionable plans at the regional brewery level.
• Oversee brand and brewing process audits, manage deviations and non‑conformance processes.
• Champion continuous improvement using VPO tools, routines and practices.
• Lead, coach and develop the brewing team in line with AB InBev leadership practices.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, goal setting and training needs analysis.
• Analyse plant performance data to identify improvement opportunities and root‑cause failures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a brewing or production team in a large‑scale environment.
• Strong understanding of occupational health, safety and risk management in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational execution.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and people‑development skills.

Required skills

• Experience with VPO (Value‑Process‑Optimization) tools.
• Familiarity with IBMS (Integrated Brewing Management System) technical and business audit processes.
• Knowledge of brewing process optimisation, quality assurance and non‑conformance management.
