Branch Operator

About the role

The Branch Operator is responsible for managing day‑to‑day branch operations, including inventory control, logistics, and secure cash collection. You will ensure that stock levels are accurate, shipments are handled efficiently, and funds are transferred to head office in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage inventory, conduct daily stock taking, reconcile physical stock with system records, and enforce FIFO handling.
• Organise shipment ordering, loading, unloading, and receipt of goods and POSM materials while maintaining warehouse hygiene.
• Secure collection of funds, perform daily banking, and reconcile sales proceeds with branch accounting manuals.
• Monitor credit limits, enforce payment terms, and report any anomalies or discrepancies.
• Generate sales orders, conduct market surveys, and produce reports on competitor activities.
• Audit bank statements against internal reports and flag any inconsistencies.
• Support field force employees with order initiation and customer information gathering.

Required profile

• Ability to perform inventory control, stock reconciliation, and logistics tasks.
• Experience handling cash collections, banking procedures, and credit control.
• Attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance with company policies.
