Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager – 5★ Zanzibar

About the role

Join Iberostar Selection Zanzibar, a new 5‑star beachfront resort, as an Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager. You will support the Bar & Restaurant Manager in delivering luxury‑level service, ensuring smooth operations across all food and beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bar and restaurant services to guarantee high‑quality guest experiences.
• Provide hands‑on support to the service team during peak periods.
• Analyse guest survey results and implement improvement plans.
• Maintain proper stock of beverages, chinaware, glassware and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Uphold sanitation standards and comply with health, safety and quality audits.
• Address guest inquiries, suggestions and complaints to achieve total satisfaction.
• Schedule, supervise and control group events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.
• Suggest actions to promote strategic F&B product sales.
• Participate in recruitment, training and performance evaluations of the F&B team.

Required profile

• Eager to learn, grow and work collaboratively within a team.
• High School Diploma or higher vocational training in Food & Beverage Service Management.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Restaurant Supervisor.
• Mid‑high level proficiency in English; German or French is a plus.
