Accounts Manager

About the role

The Accounts Manager will oversee financial controls, compliance, cash‑flow management and mobile‑money disbursements for the national office. This position ensures that statutory obligations are met, audit recommendations are implemented, and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with statutory regulations (NSSF, PAYE, WVT) and lead tax health checks.
• Coordinate external and internal finance audits, implement audit recommendations and maintain the finance risk register.
• Manage disbursements, cash‑flow forecasting, petty‑cash procedures and banking operations to keep cash balances within target benchmarks.
• Oversee mobile‑money payment processing, ensure supporting documentation, and reconcile mobile‑money accounts monthly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, compliance and audit coordination within a non‑profit or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory tax and social security regulations.
• Ability to manage cash‑flow, banking operations and mobile‑money platforms.
