Trade Finance & Working Capital Sales Manager

About the role

As a Trade Finance and Working Capital Sales Manager you will drive specialised product sales to a growing corporate client base, working closely with corporate bankers. The role focuses on achieving challenging sales and income targets while improving customer satisfaction and expanding wallet share across the corporate and investment banking portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to business growth and achieve sales targets for trade finance and working capital products.
• Develop and implement trade finance strategies to increase client wallet share.
• Engage relationship teams to design optimal trade finance solutions and negotiate pricing to maximise income.
• Provide technical trade finance advice, resolve client queries and ensure seamless after‑sale service.
• Manage correspondent banking relationships, monitor trade volumes and generate performance reports.
• Oversee product pricing, positioning, service delivery and growth for the assigned portfolio.
• Analyse monthly performance data, flag reduced volumes and initiate remedial actions.
• Coordinate structured and commodities trade finance deals and deliver product training to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Business, Commerce or Management.
• Experience in a similar junior specialist environment within banking or finance.
• Strong digital familiarity and operational administration skills.
• Solid product and service knowledge with a quality‑orientation mindset.
• Ability to adapt to change and support team success.
