Supply Chain Coordinator – Dar es Salaam (National)

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will lead and oversee the supply chain function for Save the Children Tanzania, ensuring that programme activities and operational needs are met efficiently and in compliance with organisational policies. The role combines leadership with technical support across procurement, fleet coordination, asset and supplier management, and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the overall operation of the Supply Chain function, ensuring that all processes are aligned with Save the Children Tanzania’s policies and standards.
• Provide leadership and technical support for procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management, to secure goods and services needed for programme implementation.
• Manage fleet coordination, ensuring vehicles are allocated, maintained, and utilized efficiently to support field operations.
• Oversee asset management, tracking, and maintenance of equipment and resources to maximize their lifespan and availability.
• Supervise supplier management and inventory processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to meet operational requirements.
