Financial Controller – Full‑time, Dar es Salaam

About the role

Shugulika Africa Limited is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting and cash‑flow management for its operations in Dar es Salaam.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement financial control systems, budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
• Monitor business performance against approved plans and provide analysis to senior management.
• Prepare and present financial statements, operational reports and manage short‑ and long‑term cash flow.
• Safeguard company assets through strong internal controls, audits and insurance management.
• Advise senior leadership on financial performance, risks and strategic decisions, supporting pricing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years as a Controller or senior finance role.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar business environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, integrity and attention to detail.
