Business Analyst

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to provide district sales teams with data‑driven insights and localized sales analysis to support business planning, sales execution, and decision‑making. You will translate retail intelligence into actionable recommendations, track performance, and identify opportunities to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales data to generate actionable local market insights.
• Support the Country Commercial Manager with business planning activities.
• Provide weekly sales performance insights and analysis across sales teams.
• Monitor and track sales KPIs and performance metrics.
• Conduct localized deep‑dive analyses and trend reviews based on business requirements.
• Identify sales opportunities and risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse standard reporting packs and provide recommendations to Sales Managers and District Managers.
• Support the sales team with day‑to‑day insights, reporting, and Salesforce‑related requirements.

• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results‑oriented with a proactive approach to improving business performance.
• Effective communication and time‑management skills.
• BCom degree or related Business degree.
• 1–2 years of sales or commercial experience (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and sales performance monitoring (advantageous).
